Arrived late during the route 66 portion of my cross country motorcycle trip. The staff was awesome! I asked about the nearest laundromat, and they informed me they have laundry on site! Great people. The room was clean and comfortable, only small things needing repair, but everything functioned as it should. Would gladly stay here again and recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a reasonable place to stay. Thanks :)
This place is absolutely charming. Lila, in the office, is accommodating and so sweet. We stayed in a King room. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. It's an older motel, but they're slowly updating it. Love the older tile in the bathroom. It's really reasonable and walking distance from Kix on 66 and across from Del's. If you need a place to rest, this is really a great option. Also, there are security cameras all over the property.
Decided to try this place and I really enjoyed my visit. You couldn’t ask for a better price for this location. Not only is the Motel directly on Historic Route 66 but it is on a stretch of Road where there are gas stations, restaurants and parks within walking distance. The famous Dels Restaurant is directly across the street and you can buy yourself a nice dinner from Dels with the money you save on this room. Lila (owner/operator) is such a sweetheart and thank you for having me as a guest. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, heat and water were all in good working condition. I love watching the traffic from the patio area in front of the room with chairs provided by the Motel. The vintage neon sign lights up and changes colors. It’s adds character to Tucumcari along with the other Motels still operating here.
Had to stop in the middle of the trip at 2am, manager was very nice and got us in a room quick. The bed was clean and comfy, the room was a bit dated but we didn't mind since all we were doing was sleeping. Shower was nice although the tile was very cold. We didn't touch the thermostat so I think we had the AC on which was fine, the unit was just a bit loud when kicking on so not the best for light sleepers. Very good place for a quick sleep in the middle of a trip, I don't think I would recommend for longer stays. Definitely a good deal for $45
I'm giving it a 5 because it was quiet, the price, and the total 50s vibe. We were traveling with a leàn camp. But yes it's not a perfect place in terms of cleanliness. So if your OCD about clean then this is not your motel. Believe it or not this was the easiest motel I've stayed in where I had no issues with the Internet, so go figure. Anyway I loved it.
Lila is sweet and very helpful with getting us a room. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, good hot water for a shower, cold ac, and a flat screen TV. The room I stayed in also had a mini fridge and a microwave! Honestly it is well worth the price and there are some places close by to grab a bite to eat. Overall I’m very happy with my stay! I’ll definitely stop by again when I’m passing by.
5 star experience, room 103 will live in my memories forever
rooms are a little worn down, but for 50 bucks can’t complain, we were broke down and the people at this hotel were nothing but amazing, they hosted me, and my dog even made sure he was fed and had water, even the people staying there we’re great. We’ll definitely consider stopping by again
